The Friends of Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Foundation is planning a Golf Cart Tour of Bettendorf’s Recreation Trail on Monday, September 14, 2026. There is NO rain date.
The Fall Senior Golf Cart Tour travels along the Duck Creek Recreation Trail from Palmer Hills Golf Course to Riverdale and back to Palmer Hills. Transportation on the trail will be via golf carts provided by Palmer Hills. These carts may be operated by the participants or operators will be provided for those choosing not to drive themselves. Drivers must be at least 18 years old. Stops will be made at several sites along the way. The tour will be approximately 2 hours round-trip and will depart at 10:00am or 1:30pm. Parking for the tour is available at Palmer Hills Golf Course, 2999 Middle Road. There is a $10 fee to attend the tour.
The $10 participation fee for the Senior Golf Cart Tour helps support the Friends of Bettendorf Parks & Recreation in their ongoing mission to improve recreational opportunities and community life in Bettendorf. Your participation not only includes a fun and scenic outing—it directly contributes to keeping Bettendorf’s parks and community programs active, inclusive, and well cared for.
Registration is required and tours are limited to 60 people each.
