A musical escape awaits… and it won’t cost you a penny!
On Saturday, October 17 at 3 p.m., the Bettendorf Community Band – a partner of the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department and endorsed by the City of Bettendorf – is holding its Fall Concert at the Central DeWitt Performing Arts Center (519 E 11th Street, DeWitt).
This free event includes 50 musicians performing a variety of songs ranging from Sousa marches, Broadway, and even cinematic music.
“We are excited to begin the band’s 59th season with such a diverse selection of music,” said Thomas Knowles, Music Director. “Our goal is to celebrate and engage our community through a concert that spans a wide array of musical genres.”
