Parade Route
The procession begins at the intersection of 23rd Street and State Street and will go east on State Street, curve around to Grant Street, west on Grant Street to 16th Street, turning south on 16th Street, east on State Street, and ends at 21st Street.
This year’s 4th of July Parade Grand Marshal is Larry Makoben!
Larry is a veteran and very recently attended the Honor Flight of the Quad‐Cities. He has been a member of the 4th of July committee for the past 25 years and each year Larry shows his pride and dedication to our community.
Throughout the years Larry has served on various boards, committees, and business associations including the following:
Bettendorf Park Board Chairman 1998‐2021 (22 Years)
QC Morning Optimist Club – Current Member
President – IHMVCU – until retiring in 2021
Quad Cities Chamber – Current Member
Bettendorf Fourth of July Committee (1998 – and current member – so 25 years)
Board of Directors and Founding Member of Bettendorf Business Network (BBN) – Current Member
