Student Behavior Policy
Our goal at Bettendorf Parks & Recreation is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our participants in every program.
1. Participants can contribute to a safe and enjoyable environment by doing the following:
-Show respect for the instructor by following directions and paying attention during instruction
-Appropriately utilize the facility and class materials
-Show respect for fellow participants
-Abide by all required safety measures in place for the class
2. The following steps will be taken if participants display behaviors that do not abide by the behavior guidelines:
-Gentle reminder and redirection
-Moved seat assignment
-Short time out from activity
-Dismissal for the remainder of the program
*This is not an inclusive list of all offenses, and the instructor will use their discretion to maintain a safe environment for all participants. Here will be no refund for participants removed from a program due to behavior issues.
