Memorial Day Ceremony

The City of Bettendorf will honor and remember those who have served our country with a ceremony on Memorial Day – Monday, May 25, 2026.
The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. at Bettendorf’s Veterans Memorial, located inside Veterans Memorial Park (1645 23rd Street). This year’s Guest Speaker is Colonel William J. “Joe” Parker, of the U.S. Army Garrison on the Rock Island Arsenal. Remarks will also be made by Iowa U.S. Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks, John Weiland, Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9128 in Bettendorf, as well as Mayor Pro Tem Scott Naumann.
