DESCRIPTION:Come join Bettendorf Parks & Recreation and Bettendorf Trails Committee for our 2026 Frosty Four Fun Run as we kick off the 2026 Winterfest at The Landing Ice Rink! Grab the dog\, grab the kiddos\, bring out the whole family to walk\, run\, skip\, or hop your way for a 4-mile fun run!\nWe will head east on Middle Road\, then south on 23rd Street\, and then grab the trail heading east roughly to Devils Glen Park (volunteers will be on hand to direct) and return to The Landing Ice Rink to enjoy the Winterfest activities!\n\nFee $25* – Register Online\, Deadline 1/28/26 12 Noon\nFee $30 – Register at Race (cash and credit cards accepted)\n*All pre-registered participants will receive a beanie\, medal\, and one free drink ticket to enjoy at The Landing during the Winterfest following the race!

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, February 1\, the City is hosting a new event called Winterfest at The Landing Ice Rink (2255 Middle Road). The event will take place right after the Frosty Four Fun Run\, which is a yearly event organized by the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department. Below are some details about both events: \n\n\n\nFrosty Four Fun Run \n\n\n\n\nCheck-in: 8 a.m. at The Lodge in The Landing Ice Rink\n\n\n\nStart Time: 8:30 a.m. from the lower-level parking lot of The Landing Ice Rink\n\n\n\nFour-mile route: east on Middle Road > south on 23rd Street > take trail heading east to Devils Glen Park > return to The Landing Ice Rink\n\n\n\nFee: $25 until Wednesday\, January 28 at 12 p.m.\, $30 during check-in\n\n\n\nRegister online\n\n\n\nAll pre-registered participants will receive a beanie\, medal\, and one free drink at The Lodge following the run\n\n\n\n\nWinterfestTime: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.Fee: free admission (skate rental fees still apply)Features: \n\n\n\n\nLive music from Hap Hazard\n\n\n\nBeer samples from Adventurous Brewing and Twin Span Brewing\n\n\n\nLive ice sculpting\n\n\n\nFirst 300 people receive free hot dog and free hot cocoa\n\n\n\nS’mores station\n\n\n\nActivities from the Family Museum and Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department\n\n\n\n…and\, of course\, ice skating!\n\n\n\n\n“We frequently hear of families looking for fun events in the winter months\, so our team is excited to host Winterfest at The Landing Ice Rink this February\,” said John Byrnes\, Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Director. “The Landing Ice Rink is the ideal venue to host an event for all ages to get outside and embrace the winter weather.
