SUMMARY:Bettendorf Community Center Special Needs Open Gym
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a welcoming\, adaptive gym experience designed specifically for individuals with special needs. Our Special Needs Open Gym provides a comfortable\, sensory-friendly environment where participants can enjoy physical activity at their own pace.\n\nDuring these sessions\, individuals with special needs will have the opportunity to participate in recreational activities in a more adaptive and inclusive setting than traditional programs or gym time may provide. We will limit capacity to minimize sensory stimulation and create an accommodating space for all abilities. Participants will have access to our gymnasium and a meeting room\, with both traditional gym and sporting equipment as well as adaptive play equipment available to meet diverse needs and interests.\n\nOne adult (18+) must accompany each participant.
