DESCRIPTION:Registration opens February 3rd!\n\nJoin Bettendorf Parks & Recreation for our co-ed coach pitch leagues and learn the basic skills of baseball or softball!! Participants must meet age requirements by April 28th. The first two weeks of the scheduled dates will be practices followed by six weeks of games. Start dates are tentative and will be determined by field readiness and coach availability. We will not have games on Memorial Day.\n\nThis league relies solely on volunteer coaches\, so please consider being a part of your child’s experience! To promote a community atmosphere\, team\, coach\, and player assignments will be based on school. Rainouts will be rescheduled when feasible.\n\nParticipants must provide their own glove and may bring their own bat and/or helmet; however\, Bettendorf Parks & Recreation is not responsible for lost or stolen items.\n\nA coaches meeting will be held Tuesday\, April 22nd at 5:30pm at the Bettendorf Community Center. If you agreed to coach/assist\, expect to receive an email with more information. *PLEASE NOTE: Players will NOT hear anything until AFTER coaches meeting.\n\nProgram Shirts: Our reversible parks and recreation jersey is required and automatically added to your cart during registration. If you do not need a shirt\, you may change the default quantity of 1 to be 0. Note: if you pre-order this shirt with your registration\, staff will deliver it at the first practice. If you decide to purchase one later\, they are sold at the Bettendorf Community Center\, 2204 Grant Street\, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm. DESCRIPTION:It’s time to PLAY BALL! \n\nMen’s League: This league follows USA Softball Men’s Slow Pitch rules.\nMondays: D League (up to 6) teams accepted. \nTuesdays: D League (up to 12) teams accepted. \nWednesdays: D League (up to 12) teams accepted. \nGames are scheduled to begin the week of April 28\, 2025. There is a 10-player roster minimum (24 max)\, and players may only play on ONE men’s league team\, NOT one team each night. Players must be 18 and out of high school. This will be a 9 week\, 18 game season\, plus a season ending tournament. Double headers vs. same team.\n\nCo-Ed League: This is a recreational slow pitch softball league. We offer 1 night of co-ed leagues\, held on Thursdays.\nC League (highest level of play)\nD1 League (mid-level of play)\nD2 League (most recreational level of play)\nGames are tentatively scheduled to begin May 1st\, 2025. This will be a 10 game\, 10-week season\, with a season ending tournament. DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Bettendorf Parks & Recreation – partners of the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department and endorsed by the City of Bettendorf – are once again teaming up with Bettendorf Cars & Coffee to rev up awareness of cool cars around the area while revving up funds that help kids participate in programs offered by the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department. Bettendorf Cars & Coffee is hosting the 3rd Annual Cars & Coffee Gatherings on the first Saturdays of April through October.  These events will take place the first Saturday of every month starting at 9 a.m. in Downtown Bettendorf – specifically in the parking lot of the Waterfront Convention Center\, 2021 State Street. There are no dues or membership fees. All cars and car enthusiasts are welcome. “If you’re into cars\, you’re in!” said Conor Flaherty of Bettendorf Cars & Coffee. “We’ll have free coffee for the drivers and passengers who attend\, some giveaways\, and most importantly – plenty of cool cars and great photo opportunities!”
