DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Bettendorf Parks & Recreation – partners of the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department and endorsed by the City of Bettendorf – are once again teaming up with Bettendorf Cars & Coffee to rev up awareness of cool cars around the area while revving up funds that help kids participate in programs offered by the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department. Bettendorf Cars & Coffee is hosting the 3rd Annual Cars & Coffee Gatherings on the first Saturdays of April through October.  These events will take place the first Saturday of every month starting at 9 a.m. in Downtown Bettendorf – specifically in the parking lot of the Waterfront Convention Center\, 2021 State Street. There are no dues or membership fees. All cars and car enthusiasts are welcome. “If you’re into cars\, you’re in!” said Conor Flaherty of Bettendorf Cars & Coffee. “We’ll have free coffee for the drivers and passengers who attend\, some giveaways\, and most importantly – plenty of cool cars and great photo opportunities!”

DESCRIPTION:The Downtown Bettendorf Organization (DBO) announces Be Downtown\, a free\, family-friendly outdoor event on Saturday\, June 7\, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the 15th St. Landing (15th St. and State St.). \n\n“Be Downtown continues to grow in numbers each year. It’s a great opportunity to spend the day in Downtown Bettendorf. Live music\, pro wrestling\, kids activities\, food trucks and a bags tournament make for a great Saturday\, and it’s all free\,” said Ryan Jantzi\, Executive Director of the Downtown Bettendorf Organization. \n\nBeginning at Noon\, live music will be provided in two-hour sets throughout the day by popular QC bands Rude Punch\, 10 of Soul and Funktastic 5.  Action-packed pro wrestling will begin at 2:05 p.m. by Honor Among Wrestling (HAW).\n\nVerde will offer food and an outdoor bar for alcohol and other beverage sales. Food trucks will serve food from Noon to 6 p.m. including Smokin’ Goodness and Wolfe It Down Pizza.\n\nThe K&K Family Fun Zone will run from Noon to 6 p.m. and have bounce houses\, bubble stations and a hands-on kids activities. The City of Bettendorf will celebrate their 122nd birthday and merchandise vendors will be selling a variety of food and gift products. \n\nTwo bags tournaments will be held at 12 and 3 p.m. run by the 4-City Cornhole Club. Registration will be on-site 1 hour prior to each tournament.
