Learn the basics of basketball and practice teamwork and good sportsmanship in this learning league! Teams will be based on schools and ages\, and requests will NOT be honored. This is a basic skills league for beginners to learn the concept of the game\, and to build on skills previously learned while adding to their basketball knowledge. Scores will not be kept in either division. Referees will be used; however\, they will call games loosely. We rely SOLELY on volunteer coaches for these teams\, so please consider being a part of your child’s experience! A coaches meeting will be held Wednesday\, January 7th at 6pm at the Bettendorf Community Center.\n\nThis is a 9-week league that meets on Saturdays\, starting January 10 through March 7. Teams will meet at either 10:15am OR 11:30am each Saturday. Team schedules will fluctuate weekly so be sure to schedule both times in your calendar.
