SUMMARY:Bike to Work Week Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, May 13 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.\, the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department is partnering with the Downtown Bettendorf Organization to host a pit stop along the Mississippi River Trail at Leach Park (100 12th Street). There will be free breakfast and drinks for cyclists and supporters of bike-friendly communities. This is part of the Quad Cities Bicycle Club’s five-day event\, which also includes pit stops in Moline\, Davenport\, and Rock Island.

DESCRIPTION:Bettendorf Parks & Recreation is excited to partner again with our friends at ACE Auto Doctor and Repair!\n\nRegistrants\, ages 15-19 years old\, will perform the following vehicle maintenance tasks:\n\n•	Check tire pressure and change tires.\n•	Check and replace fluids under the hood including wiper and coolant.\n•	Replace engine oil and replace oil filter.\n•	Connect to the onboard computer and read codes and live data.\n\nRegistrants will be broken into groups of 3 and will perform the tasks mentioned above. This will be a fantastic opportunity for teens to learn and practice essential car maintenance tasks!
