Bettendorf Parks & Recreation are excited to partner with the Quad City Rollers to offer beginner-friendly roller-skating lessons at our outdoor rink facility. Held on the smooth concrete slab surface, this program provides a fun and supportive environment for skaters ages 8 and up to learn the fundamentals of roller skating.
Participants will be introduced to essential skills such as balance, posture, forward skating, stopping techniques, turning, and basic safety awareness. Lessons are led by experienced instructors and are designed to accommodate all skill levels, from first-time skaters to those looking to build confidence and improve control.
Whether you’re trying roller skating for the first time or returning after a break, this program is a great way to stay active, build coordination, and enjoy time outdoors in a welcoming community setting.
Roller skates are included in the registration fee.
Helmet and wrist guards are required. Participants must bring their own.
